The Sweet News — April 2015

Patrick_NoPicEvery once in a while,

during your very busy work schedule, you get a sweet little surprise that removes you from the rat race, and reminds you that the little things in life do not make a difference. For this reason, I keep following the trail of cheese called social media.

I was working late one night, and got a Tweet invite, which in my mail software only shows me the name until I click on the “open images” button.

“Who in the heck is Patrick, and how did he get such a cool last name?” I asked myself. So I eat the cheese and click the “open images” button to check out Patrick… and low and behold, it is a very old friend of my son and min that we used to visit with quite often, when time was a bit slower and laughs came easily.

This piece of cheese made me smile from ear to ear and want to wake up my son to say, “Look who came to visit!” We used to love watching Patrick and Spongbob take on the challenges of their underwater world and life in general. Patrick, a simple guy whose only joy in life is to be Spongebob’s friend, sees every moment as a new opportunity — something this old rat needs to remember!!

Bee surprised,

Tina
